Features of Our Standard Platform Bodies
Constructed with a robust 5″ structural channel long sill and reinforced with 3″ structural channel cross members spaced at 16″ on-center, our platform bodies offer exceptional strength and stability. The 1/8″ treadplate floor deck delivers superior durability and improved traction, ensuring safer loading and unloading. By positioning horizontal sheet seams directly over the cross members, the design prevents sheet separation and extends the overall lifespan of the body.
Each platform body truck features integrated 1/8″ treadplate side rails for enhanced edge protection, along with an 11-gauge sheet steel bulkhead supported by 3″ structural channel standards and a durable window screen for added safety. At the rear, an 11-gauge skirt with recessed light boxes and tag box ensures visibility and durability, while standard S/T/T LED and reverse LED lights further improve safety on the road.
Additional features include 3/4″ LED federal 108 spec clearance lights, a 16,000 lbs.-rated 2″ receiver tube with integrated ICC bumper, and a modular plug-and-play wiring harness for hassle-free installation. Each unit features a corrosion-resistant black powder coat finish and is equipped with standard mud flaps on each rear wheel, along with a 97-decibel backup alarm to enhance safety during maneuvering.
